BIOGRAPHY
|
After ingeenering studies, Patrick Rimond moved to Japan where he lived for nine years.
During that japanese period, Rimond explores the photography before deepening his process.
His work is the result of one unique impulsion : the desire to catch the distance between him and the world.
The landscapes are built through city travel, free travel in cities giving him the opportunity and possibility
to shoot what inspired him without being jailed in a theme or in a series. Rimond is shooting in a sensitive
and subjective way in order for his ordinary subject to be transformed into a contemplative emotion.
His intuitive photography can be considered as abstraction in which colors and the composition create
an accomplished space where each element is balanced recreating the harmony of a zen garden.
